Canada Day ‘08
It was Canada’s birthday last Tuesday (July 1) and I had nothing else to do at home but relax (don’t blame me, I’m completing my 2-straight weeks of shift since yesterday). Since I anticipated this break, Cheree and I planned to go swimming at her place. She’ll be busy too since she got in to the Faculty of Nursing and her schedule will be hectic starting this summer.
I haven’t been to their backyard before because they just got their house not too long ago (I used to hang out at their old place, which is a 10-15 minute drive from my place). I thought it was going to rain at first because there were dark clouds when I woke up, but the sun shone eventually.
It was just me and Cheree at first, and then we thought that hey, maybe we could invite some other people!
And an hour or so later, Jaq, Ariane and her brother Toffers dropped by too.
It was a fun day, just lazing around and hanging out with friends that I don’t get to talk that much now because of our schedules. Though I ended up getting sunburned, ha ha.
