Bucaccino’s / The Cupcakery
Went out today for a planned lunch date with Erica, whom I haven’t seen in months (last time was like, around November, with Julie). I figured that my birthday discount at Bucaccino’s is about to expire, so might as well use it while I have my day off.
Food is good, as usual. Had a great time hanging out with Erica and caught up with things and such.
We then went to a new cupcake store at Osborne-Stradbrooke area called The Cupcakery. I wanted mini-cupcakes but they just got out of the oven, so I ended up getting 4 regular sizes of cupcakes for Lem, Joann and Tantan.
I think the concept of the store is neat and cute, though the cupcakes are too pricey. I mean, I could buy a package of cake mix, buy frosting, and make it, and still cheap too. The cakes were tasty too, but yeah.
