First day of (permanent) vacation
Well, hopefully it’s a permanent one. I’m worried about one of my exam results. Ang haba kaya! Tapos 60% pa yung weight nun. Nakakagago.
Guess what arrived in my mail today? 
It’s my copy of Nachural photobook na binili ko from Jocey. Hehehehe. Ang saya ko kasi andito si Takagi Shinpei, hahaha. Hindi ko pa natitignan nang maayos pero so far natuwa ako sa mga shots. Sulit. Hindi ko pa napapanood yung DVD baka bukas na lang.
Last night I caught up with my books. I haven’t read any new manga series lately since I’ve been trying to reduce the series I read except to those that I religiously follow, but a couple of months ago I grabbed myself a copy of Suppli by Okazaki Mari. I am pretty sure that I am not included in the targeted age group/audience of this manga but somehow it hits close to home. I guess it’s because I pretty much relate to the lead character Fujii Minami because of her view about life and how she carries herself at work.
A couple of lines there at really made me ‘whoa’:
“If I don’t fall in love, I never have to notice that circumstances have tailored my style into one not at all aimed at attracting men.”
“Before I knew it, ‘cute’ was a subject I wasn’t good at. That lack put the brakes on love.”
So true.
I went to school today and had my film rolls processed. Marunong na ako mag-process ng sarili ko, yehey! Hindi ako nakagawa ng prints kasi napundi yung bumbilya ng enlarger, so baka sa May na lang. Nevertheless nakagawa ako ng contact prints with Dom gamit yung isang enlarger na 4×5 so at least may idea ako alin yung gusto kong i-print next time. Natuwa ako kasi ang ganda ng mga kinalabasang photos. Hehe.
