Stardust
Finally finished reading Stardust. I skipped a number of pages because the palaboks are killing me. Siguro I was anxious to finish the book. I find it boring in some parts, not really engrossing compared to Coraline. It was a so-so book. However, I enjoyed reading it, in a way, since I’m all tired with wizards and stuff. I think ito yung pangalawang beses na nakabasa ako ng something about faeries. The first one, I believe, is the first installment of Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer.
Anyway, going back, kung bibigyan ko ng rating itong book na ito, I’ll probably give it a 3. I am not really inclined sa pagbabasa ng mga fantasy books (okay, I was once hooked to HP), but an adult faery tale is not that bad. Gusto ko ang pagkaka-describe sa mga characters at sa pagkakakuwento kung ano ang mga nangyari. Kaya lang hindi masyadong “spell-binding”. I was expecting na mas magical yung atmosphere ng kuwento.
Puwedeng gawing movie itong book na ito.

Hmm. Haven’t read this book yet. But I have read the first Artemis Fowl book and loved it. I didn’t like the sequels to it as much, though.

I also enjoyed Artemis Fowl, pero di ko alam kung maganda yung sequels since hindi ko pa naman nababasa.
