I got a bit of inspiration from my friend Sybil. But she’s now more of like a full-time fashion blogger, while I, on the other hand, have been juggling photography and writing since I started blogging way, way back in late 2001. Anyway. I figured out that it would be nice to document what I usually look on a Friday, especially that most of the time I get to wear the usual business casual clothes at work.

This outfit by the way failed me this morning. I was running late and I forgot to put insoles in my shoes. Imagine what happened. Good thing I brought a pair of GAP flip flops with me (costed my mom a BUCK. Seriously), otherwise, today would have been a total disaster.

Speaking of shoes, I finally went back to my previous workplace this afternoon. I bought a pair of shoes (yes, I used to work p/t at a shoe store) but since I have terribly wide feet, I bought the size in wide. I should have known (Oh geeze, I really should know) that even though it’s wide sized already I should have put it in a stretcher before I left. I’ve only worn the shoes once and yes, by the end of the day my feet were dead.

So I bought chocolates for whoever’s in the store, and E & C were there! So happy to catch up with them. I brought my shoes to be stretched. Hopefully they’ll be ready over the weekend because I’ll be doing some cleaning and sorting of my room and the storage where majority of my shoes currently reside.

Whew. That’s a lot. I really should be taking time writing stuff and sitting down, editing things. I’ve noticed lately that I haven’t been writing a lot, and even though my photos should be telling the story, I don’t think that’s enough. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up and yeah. Write more I guess.

JUNE 25, 2010 – My goodness. I can’t imagine how much backlog I have to do!

Nothing much happened last Friday except that I finally wore a semi-casual jacket that I bought 3 years ago! Whew. I finally got some nice buttons to replace the old ones (some were missing — hey, it was on sale). The photo didn’t complement the jacket because I was running late, ha ha!

Too many things are taking place.

Been home for a week now, and it seems that time is just zooming right in front of me. I haven’t really accomplished anything except for some work-hunting stuff (which is still ongoing), but today I knew I had to do something because, well, time is flying by. In as much as I want to slack before school starts (I mean, I deserve some rest time, after that crazy Edmonton stint), I have a feeling that I shouldn’t waste any second. Mmm. I’m making my own set of stressors.

A lot of packing and boxing done because La Familia‘s moving to a new place by mid-August. So far so good.

August is a busy month. I’m sure of that.
