What if no one's watching?

AUGUST 30, 2010 – So, I didn’t forget that they’re having a 50% sale at Value Village today, so after getting home from work, I asked my sister to accompany me to the store.

Anyway the weather sucked today and it didn’t help that it’s been crazy at work.

There wasn’t anything in there — the mint Olympus mju I that was there before was already sold. The Canon waterproof camera’s sold too (boo!). Majority that’s in there are some odds and ends AF. Nothing interesting except the toy camera that I found! A Crayola one!

Not sure what’s the aperture and shutter speed of this little toy; I might have to search it in a bit.

In addition to the camera I also got a nice bag for half the price. I believe it’s still new though because it was covered in plastic.

AUGUST 29, 2010 – The last Sunday of the month was spent sleeping and catching up with my books. I’m finally done with Belle de Jour’s Guide to Men. Not a heavy reading; I guess you can tuck it under the “chick lit” category but I find it really insightful than ditzy (plus her smart retorts are just really funny).

Which makes me realize btw that I really lack sleep. This book’s really think but I ended up sleeping in between (no, it’s not boring). Must be because I drank too much the night before.

AUGUST 28, 2010 – Let’s drink on a Saturday Night!

I haven’t seen Cheree in a while so I was happy that she dropped by to my place to hang out and of course, drink! Sybil joined us later and so was Jona, but she had to leave early as she just got back from a family trip from Hecla.

We had chicken, chicken skin, drinks (I discovered Caramilk Mudslide! Heaven!), and DVDs. Really nice.
