Gastronomy 101: Nami Japanese Seafood Restaurant

A couple of weeks ago I treated my husband to an early birthday dinner at Nami Japanese Seafood Restaurant (55 Adelaide Street E). Having hailed as one of the best and finest Japanese restaurant in the city we knew we got to try it out. As soon as we went there we were welcomed by servers wearing Japanese kimono and the combination of traditional and modern ambiance. We were seated at a booth with bamboo fences which I liked as it gave diners some privacy while eating and chatting.

And how about the food? The place is not your usual run-of-the-mill sushi place. The fishes used are high quality and we definitely tasted it when we had the tuna tataki, unagi, and the melt-in-your-mouth bluefin chutoro. The price is on the higher end of the spectrum but the whole experience was great and it was worth it.
