Summer Holidays: Niagara Falls

Canada Film Nature Travel

As part of my yearly trip to Toronto, Kelvin and I went to Niagara Falls. It was freaking humid and hot and I started getting heat rashes. But it was worth it.

It was my first time in Niagara Falls so I was fairly excited. Given Kelvin’s proximity to the place he’s been there a couple of times but mostly accompanying his family. We took the Maid of the Mist and tried out his then-recent camera find, which is the Canon Sureshot WP-1.

The camera failed us halfway through and it unexpectedly advanced the film before we even finished shooting. So the photos you see here are 1/4 of what survived (I believe we got 15 shots that survived, the rest were unexposed).

Finding ourselves at the bottom of Horseshoe Falls was marvelous. I am not religious but I feel blessed that I get to see such spectacle and even more so because I get to see it together with a very important person in my life.
