My last day in Winnipeg before going back to Edmonton was spent hanging out with my friends from my alma mater. We hung out at Assiniboine Park and enjoyed the sunshine and the gentle breeze.

After the shoot, Grace and I dropped off at my alma mater, University of Manitoba, to do some personal/admin stuff. I get to meet some of my friends from the org, including the new members.
First off is Keith, who looks awesome. But he’s my rival.

Pixelytes Shoot-out + Anjo & Maesie’s Photoshoot

My friends back from Winnipeg who are also in photography met up last Tuesday to do a photoshoot with another couple-friend. It was an awesome experience. I brought Jacky’s AF 50mm 1:1.8 prime lens, as he told me I can use it because he’s busy at lab work.
All of us are amateur photographers, so we decided to hang out and learn from one another. The session was very informal, as we are all friends to begin with. The weather was really fine, until it started to rain by the end of our shoot. Read the rest of this entry »
