Bio
Angela Solis was born in 1986 in Cavite, Philippines. After completing her high school education she briefly attended the University of the Philippines before moving to Canada with her family. Angela successfully finished her post-secondary education in 2008 and took some professional development courses that she completed in 2010. She currently works at an internationally-recognized, not-for-profit organization in Winnipeg.
Angela’s style leans toward the snapshot aesthetic; images of blatantly common, everyday things without touching her subject’s sexuality (pun intended). She currently focuses her work on on-location shoots and portraits, lifestyle and street photography. Angela captures her images using film and digital formats.
